mgs4 is a direct sequel to mgs2, so you should play it, but on the other hand mgs is complex story(its #1 merit) so I think in the end playing 'em all shouldn't hurt, all of 'em are truly fantastic.. even mgs2 when kojima(you eccentric mean lil one) stabbed us in the back, urrrgggh snake...
ps: note that there are different versions of mgs3 so you should think it through and choose the version(gameplay style ie came...

i don't see why pc gamers aren't satisfied with this game running at 720p,,, well maybe it's when you lash out a 1200$(the absolute minimum) on a gaming pc you are forced be dissapointed, i'll stay by my console(a 400 eu purchase) and I'll keep a good mid-range pc to run rts games on....

psp will have a umd drive, they can't just rely on the ps store because a lot of poeple doesn't accept this idea, they want a hard copy, or they don't have a fast connection to download games...
now a more plausible idea would be including an 8 gig harddrive, and selling games thru optical discs, that you will use to install the game, but that's too complicated for some poeple who just want to play, so i think that the umd is here to stay...

but now seriously you want to have a good rts experience, get a pc, this genre is for the pc in first place, you can have some ports and spin-offs on the console but it is not gonna reach the quality of pc rts imo, i played supreme commander on my mid-end pc and it was amazing...
